Playa Del Carmen, Mexico

Yulia went to church camp the week of July 12 and we headed to Playa del Car for a quick get a way. Here's Paul Barry on a snorkel trip we took.






At the end of our boat trip, they wanted everybody to ride the spinnaker.

There wasn't enough wind to get Paul Barry or anybody else out of the water.

CHITTY CHITTY BANG-BANG

Getting a motorcycle did nothing but wet Paul Barry's appetite for the wild side.

He went up with a friend in an experimental aircraft. Said it was a lovely view of western Missouri and I-70.

Lake Eufaula

We went to Lake Eufaula in Oklahoma to visit some friends. Joe and Kris Powell are trying to rent a lake house every year so everyone can get together. We had a blast.

We rented this pontoon boat for quite the cheap price. We were told it was in "pristine condition ." Note the torn upholstery.

After saying "NO" a bazillion times, here's Paul Barry's new Honda Shadow.

BARRY'S AT SCHLITTERBAUN

One place we've really missed since moving to Missouri is Schlitterbaun in New Braunfels. So, we decided to fly in for a couple of days and it turned out to be a Barry Reunion.

Yulia's 12th Birthday

Aunt Debbie flew in to celebrate Yulia's 12th birthday. We visited the zoo early in the weekend.



The weather was nice so a lot of the animals were out.

Clap Out

Yulia's school does a "Clap Out" for 5th graders. On the last day of school, all the students up through 4th grade line the halls and clap for the graduating 5th graders. Yulia's at about 26 seconds, in a yellow shirt.

Yulia's volleyball team finished out it's season. All of the girls got really good.





Paul signed up to be assistant coach, but was promoted to head coach when no one else stepped up. He had a good time and all of the girls plan on being together again in the fall with him as coach!

EASTER 2009

Colyn and her boyfriend flew in for Easter. We ate our Easter dinner at Kitty's dining room table. This is the first time we've used the table since bringing it up Missouri after Christmas.


Paul got 4 great tickets to the Cardinals game Saturday. We were there when Pujols hit his grand slam. Very exciting!!
